Malamay is able to cater for parties and functions of all types, ranging from corporate dinners and cocktail functions, to weddings and birthdays and wine dinners.

We offer  two private dining rooms (seating a maximum of 8 and 20 respectively) and can organise semi private areas within the main dining area for larger numbers. The capacity of the main dining room is 120 guests. We also invite you to use our balcony garden, fully covered and heated, this is the perfect area for groups of 20  to 40 for both seated dinners and cocktail functions. We do not charge a room hire fee, however we do have some minimum spending requirements that need to be met to reserve the private areas.

We invite groups to choose from our set menus, however we are also more than happy to tailor unique menus to suit the requirements of your party. We can also tailor menus for special themed events, such as Chinese New Year.

All dietary requirements can be catered for, with prior notice. Menus for groups must also be pre ordered.  The restaurant is fully licensed, with an extensive wine list and matching wine tastings. BYO bottled wines only, corkage $15 per bottle. We can also arrange beverage packages and wine matching packages upon request.

For groups over 10 guests, we do request that final numbers, menu selection and dietary requirements are given to the restaurant a minimum of 4 days in advance. We will charge a for final confirmed numbers; no shows will be charged.

Please note the restaurant opening hours are 12- 3pm and 6 – 11pm. Due to liquor licensing, drink service ends at 11pm. We can extend our opening hours upon negotiation, however a  surcharge will apply.
